- 1985 - Born in South Korea and despite this picture, gets adopted anyway.
- 1990 - Takes swimming lessons and gets held back every year for the next three years.
- 1994 - Get Snoopy, my first dog.
- 1990 - Get busted for doing everyone's homework in kindergarten for extra candy.
- 1992 - Joins the basketball team and makes only one basket my entire playing career. It was a free throw.
- 1993 - Obsessed with the Oregon Trail and will only wear cowboy boots and flannel shirts for the entire year.
- 1994 - Snoopy dies. Gets another dog and names it Snoopy.
- 1997 - Joins the boy's football team and gets benched for being too rough on the boys.
- 1998 - Attends my first and only Chiefs game in a torrential rainstorm. Loves every second.
- 1999 - Comes in third in the spelling bee. Only 4 entered.
- 2001 - Gets license and promptly crashes car, bribes my twin sister to drive me around for the next three years.
- 2002 - Wins Mother of the Year essay contest. No longer have to buy my mom a Mother's Day present.
- 2003 - Starts guitar lessons, quits 2 weeks later.
- 2003 - Graduates high school a year early, accepts marketing internship in Texas.
- 2005 - Enters national recipe contests as a broke college student to earn extra money. Wins $600.
- 2010 - Graduates with a 3.98 GPA from University of Central Missouri in 2 1/2 years.
- 2010 - Moves to Colorado to work for Focus on the Family. Second day there, I back into my roommate's car.
- 2011 - Camps out at Chick-fil-A three times and wins 156 free meals.
- 2011 - Wreck my car while admiring a lawn mowed like a football field.
- 2012 - Buys a new car.
- 2013 - While house-sitting for a friend, replaces every picture in the house with a photo of Samuel L. Jackson.
- 2014 - Starts working at Outreach as a UX Designer.
- 2015 - Buys a bike and accidentally wrecks it in the bike shop parking lot.
- 2016 - Starts working at Compassion International as Senior Web Designer and travels to Africa for the magazine.
